McLean 6th Grade is a single grade campus in Fort Worth ISD, located in a highly sought-after neighborhood minutes from TCU. McLean 6th is a high performing campus and has earned top ratings and multiple distinctions by the state. It’s currently rated a B campus with a score of 89.

Streamlined the campus assessment program by implementing new processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, leading to a reduction in the time spent on testing and allowing more time for instruction and student support.
Increased Student Achievement: As a result of our improved assessment processes and data-driven decision making, we have seen a significant increase in student achievement. Our students have consistently demonstrated growth on state and national assessments, and we have received recognition for our high levels of performance.
Provided ongoing professional development for our staff. This has allowed our teachers to stay up to date on the latest assessment and data analysis techniques, which has helped to improve their instructional practices and student support.

Primary Duties: Served as the campus OCI teacher for Tier I disciplinary placement students. Facilitated the use of eLearning software as the primary source of instruction. Maintained accurate and efficient record-keeping of official attendance records, grade reports, student files, and other appropriate documents. Executed and maintained appropriate student-centered discipline techniques and effective classroom management strategies to maximize student learning and time-on-task.
